Joined Mewburn Ellis in 1995.  Chartered Patent Attorney 1999.  European Patent Attorney 1999.  Joined partnership in 2001.

Degree in chemistry from Oxford University.

Patent work in chemical fields with particular experience in pharmaceuticals, polymers and electrochemistry.  Deals mainly with drafting and prosecution and advises on global portfolio management and invention capture.  Assisted clients in licensing of IP.  Clients include British universities, charities, spin out companies, SMEs and multi-nationals.  Also does design work.

Representative authorised to act before the OHIM.

Member of Designs and Copyright committee of CIPA.  Active member of FICPI (including council member of FICPI -UK and member of international design study group (CET)).  Active foreign member of AIPLA (including panel member for advanced PCT road shows 2006-2007 and member of PCT committee).
