MPhys in physics from University of Oxford.
Patent work in mechanical, electrical and computer-related technology/software fields, with particular experience in electronic engineering, medical devices, semiconductors, mechanical engineering, telecommunications, gaming technology, and optical sensors. Deals mainly with drafting and prosecuting patent applications and managing patent portfolios for local clients. Particular interest in the patentability of software-related inventions at the EPO and UK-IPO. Some designs work. Spent 3 months in 2006 as an intern in a large IP law firm in Seattle and New York. Clients include locally based companies with global market and research and development organisations.
