Joined Mewburn Ellis in 1999.  Chartered Patent Attorney 2001, European Patent Attorney 2002.  Joined partnership in 2004.  Awarded a Patent Agent Litigator Certificate in 2010 allowing him to conduct intellectual property litigation in all relevant courts, including the Patents Court (High Court), Patents County Court and on appeal from the Patents Court or the Patents County Court.

Degree and PhD in materials science from University of Oxford.  PhD project in power applications of high temperature superconductors.

Patent work in the fields of materials, mechanical, nanotechnology and telecommunications.  Deals with all areas of patent and design work including litigation and dispute resolution.  

Clients include universities, SMEs and multinationals including many Japanese clients.

Contributor of the UK chapter for "Patent Claim Interpretation- Global Edition", 2009-2010, published by West.
