Areas of Expertise
Background
Emily has a MSci and PhD in Physics from the University of Birmingham.
She conducted her PhD research on the ALICE experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. She was identifying the production of rare multi-strange particles in heavy-ion collisions that signal the formation of the strongly-interacting matter known as a Quark-Gluon Plasma. She continued doing research in the computational modelling group at Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore. Her work here focused on the development of a dynamic knowledge graph which automatically brings data from different organisations together and enhances it, for applications in city planning.
She has also worked as a software engineer at a CAD/CAM software company and an e-commerce company utilising AI-powered technologies to improve operations.
Emily joined Mewburn Ellis in 2023.
