The role

We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join our Manchester team as a Client Support Assistant (CSA). This is a fantastic role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service.

As part of a dedicated CSA team, you will play a key role in maintaining and updating client records and accurately profiling incoming emails to ensure they are correctly prepared for action by the wider team. You’ll collaborate closely with Partners, Patent and Trade Mark Administrators, and other support colleagues, making a real impact on the efficiency and success of the firm.

We’re looking for a highly organised and motivated individual who can perform under pressure, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent communication skills. At the heart of this role is a commitment to ensuring our clients consistently receive the highest standards of service.

The firm’s clients include large multinationals, small to medium sized companies, as well as universities and other intellectual property firms around the world.  

This is a hybrid role, requiring office attendance in Manchester for 50% of your time over a two-week period.

About you

We’re looking for an organised and proactive individual with experience in office administration, ideally gained within a professional services environment. You’ll take ownership of your responsibilities, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise effectively and collaborate as part of a high-performing team.

A commitment to delivering excellent client service is key, with a methodical, detail-oriented approach to your work.

Skills and Experience

•    Good level of general IT skills with knowledge of MS Office packages specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
•    Ability to learn new systems including electronic filing, records and other internal IT systems relevant to the role.
•    Excellent administrative skills and the ability to handle large volumes of data accurately.   
•    Good level of attention to detail and the ability to take responsibility for ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
•    Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
•    Self-motivated and willing to learn and develop skills within a professional services environment. 
•    Flexible and adaptable.
