We have been made aware that for at least the next six months, the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) will experience delays in publishing patents. This affects both A (initial) publications and B (grant) publications.
The IPO is implementing a major transformation programme called OneIPO. These changes have temporarily slowed publication and granting processes.
The IPO has prioritised increasing publishing capacity and is working to restore normal timelines as quickly as possible. We will be monitoring the situation and will post updates when we have them.
If you have any concerns, please contact your usual Mewburn Ellis LLP attorney or paralegal.
