We are proud to have published our 2025-26 Annual Sustainability Report, highlighting the progress we've made over the past year across environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities and reaffirming our commitment to responsible growth.
This year's report, themed "Forward Looking. Responsible Growth.", outlines how we continue to embed sustainability across our business, from climate action and community investment to governance, inclusion and supporting innovation.
The report reflects continued progress against our long-term sustainability ambitions. We retained our EcoVadis Platinum rating, placing Mewburn Ellis among the top 1% of companies assessed globally, and maintained our CDP B Climate Score, the highest rating available for SMEs. We also continued to advance our Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)-validated pathway to net zero, with a 48% reduction in carbon emissions from our 2021 baseline and increased renewable electricity procurement across our UK offices.
Alongside environmental progress, the report highlights the impact of our people and community initiatives. Through the Forward Community Programme, we have now contributed £1.5 million to charitable causes since 2020, while our Mewburn Forest initiative has enabled the planting of more than 86,700 trees. The report also showcases continued investment in learning and development, colleague wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and responsible business practices.
The report also outlines our priorities for the years ahead, including continued progress against our net-zero transition plan, strengthening ESG governance, improving sustainability reporting and pursuing ISO 14001 certification.
In addition to publishing this report, and building on our previous CDP disclosures, we have submitted our latest environmental data to CDP as part of its 2026 reporting cycle. CDP is widely recognised as the global standard for environmental disclosure, helping organisations report transparently on climate-related impacts and progress.
