£5,000 Donation to “Not a Phase” a trans-led, nationwide charity

We’re proud to support Not A Phase, a trans-led, nationwide charity committed to uplifting and improving the lives of trans+ adults across the UK with a £5k donation.

Through awareness campaigns, social projects and funding trans-led initiatives, Not A Phase is building a more inclusive and supportive society for the trans+ and gender non-conforming community. They are dedicated to creating thriving spaces where trans+ individuals can feel seen, supported and celebrated, with their vital work challenging stigma, building community, and ensuring trans+ voices are heard and valued.

Not A Phase currently run a range of impactful services that provide safe spaces, peer support, and community connection. For example:

£100 funds a weekly Misfits session for 15 people, offering a welcoming environment for trans+ adults to connect and share.

  • £250 supports a monthly Trans+Connect peer-support group, helping individuals navigate challenges and build resilience.
  • £1,000 enables a Misfits Unleashed activity for up to 50 trans+ adults, fostering community and empowerment.
  • £5,000 covers an entire month of free fitness classes across 9 UK locations, including venue hire and trainer fees, promoting wellbeing and inclusion.

As well as supporting Not a Phase’s current initiatives, we’re looking forward to collaborating with them in the development of further programs and services to support trans+ adults.

“Not A Phase is doing important work to support the trans+ community through connection, empowerment and visibility. We’re proud to collaborate with them on their mission and help expand access to the services that make a real difference in people’s lives,” said Robert Andrews, Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer, Partner, Patent Attorney at Mewburn Ellis.
