We continue our support to Action for Conservation with a further £10,000 donation

As part of our community giving project, we’re proud to continue our support for Action for Conservation (AFC) – a charity dedicated to inspiring and empowering young people to become the next generation of environmental leaders.

AFC stood out to us for their innovative approach and impactful programmes, which align closely with our commitment to sustainability. Their passion for instilling a lifelong belief in the wonder of the living world resonates deeply with our values. We hope our latest donation of £10,000 will help further their mission and make a lasting difference – bringing our total contribution to £15,000.

Founded in 2014, AFC has spent the last decade empowering over 7,000 young people to protect and restore the natural world. Their work helps young people contribute to a revitalised and diverse environmental sector, drive meaningful change in their communities, and shape the values of wider society to build a greener future in which people and the planet thrive. As part of their five-year mission launched in 2023, AFC pledged to bring the magic of nature into young people’s lives, inspiring a youth movement committed to conservation, restoration, and care for the Earth. Their 2024 Impact Report highlights the importance of intergenerational thinking and action in addressing the climate and ecological crisis, the greatest challenge humanity has ever faced.

“We’re delighted to continue supporting Action for Conservation. Their work shows that nurturing a life-long relationship with nature can create long-term change. We believe in their vision, and we’re proud to help them bring nature into the lives of young people across the UK” said Fynn McLennan, Associate, Patent Attorney at Mewburn Ellis.

"We are so grateful for Mewburn Ellis’ support of our work," says Lani Dines, Fundraising Manager at Action for Conservation. "Together we can support young people to understand their part in nature and feel motivated and inspired to protect it no matter what path they decide to take in life."
