Camilla is litigator with more than 20 years of expertise in patent and SPC litigation, both defensive and offensive. She has spent most of her career working with life science and healthcare companies and has developed a deep understanding of this industry and a passion for helping clients achieve their commercial goals. Camilla is noted as: "A real team player with a true passion for her work and determination to achieve success for her clientele." (IAM 1000, 2024)

She works with companies of all sizes to help support their products through their life cycle. From navigating freedom to operate issues before a product launch, to defending patent portfolios on blockbuster products as they reach the end of patent and SPC term, Camilla works closely with our patent attorney experts to ensure that a strategic approach to meet a client’s needs is agreed and implemented. Camilla has developed particular expertise leading strategically important projects that span multiple European jurisdictions (including UPC) and works seamlessly with global teams on such projects. Example of products where she has had this role include Revlimid® and Stelara®.

Joining the firm in May 2025 Camilla will lead our Patent Litigation team and as such will bring her skills to helping the firm’s clients to use litigation tools across Europe.

Background

Camilla is a UK qualified solicitor and is also on the roll of solicitors in Ireland and is a UPC Representative.

Having studied genetics at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne she later studied law and qualified as a solicitor in 2002. She then obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Law from Bristol University. Since then she has represented clients in the UK and European Courts, acted on multiple different products and also spent a time in-house early in her career.

She became a partner in 2011 and since that time has always been part of teams that have been growing and building reputations. She has also led DEI initiatives and often mentors team members. She is passionate about building an inclusive culture where every team member feels valued and supported.

Living in London with her two teenage boys, Camilla enjoys spending timing watching their various sporting pursuits, travelling, gardening and reading.
