Dydra is a highly experienced attorney in trade mark matters. She has particular expertise across all aspects of German, European and international trade mark law, including: consulting and managing large trade mark portfolios worldwide; strategy for trade mark applications; opposition, invalidation and revocation proceedings; coordinating legal proceedings worldwide; domain name disputes; drafting and negotiating trade mark license agreements, complex trade mark purchase agreements as well as settlement agreements.  Dydra also has significant litigation experience, having taken cases before the German courts and the General Court in Luxembourg. Dydra has lectured across Germany and Russia.

Dydra’s clients include large, middle and small size companies in the USA, Japan, Korea, China and Europe as well as individuals.


Dydra studied law at the University of Augsburg, Germany. She has a doctorate in law. Topic of the dissertation: Product liability under the Convention on International Sales of Goods (CISG) - history, application and barrier effect of Art. 5 CISG. Dydra has been admitted to the Bar in 1995. She is a member of the German Bar Association and the German Association for Industrial Property and Copyright. 

A German national, Dydra joined Mewburn Ellis in 2018 as a partner in the Munich office. She was previously a salaried partner at a German IP firm.

Dydra is a member of INTA (International Trade Mark Association), MARQUES and the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
