Justin is a trainee patent attorney working in the chemistry team.

Background

Justin graduated from the University of Oxford with both a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Inorganic Chemistry and an MChem (Master of Chemistry) degree. He has a particular interest in green chemistry, with his master’s thesis focusing on the small molecule reactivity of non-toxic bismuth complexes. 
 
Justin’s DPhil, supervised by Professor Dermot O’Hare, focused on designing and utilising group III catalysts for the synthesis of bio-renewable polymers. 

Justin joined Mewburn Ellis in 2025.
