Niamh is a qualified paralegal with over 3 years’ experience in IP. She has previously taken part in developing client-specific procedures and fostering a working relationship with other client paralegals.

Areas of Expertise

  • GB, EP, PCT and foreign patent filings and prosecution, including CN, US, IN and TW
  • GB design filings and prosecution, as well as prosecution of Hague designs
  • Obtaining assignments and PoAs from clients
  •  National/regional phase filings 

Clients

Niamh has worked with multiple multi-national companies, most notably in the aerospace sector. She has also worked on a range of patents relating to medical technology, renewable energy and semiconductors. In designs, she has independently managed portfolios for clients from the automotive and electronic sectors. 

Background

 Niamh graduated from the University of Bristol with degrees in History (BA, 2021 and MA 2022). She has been CIPA qualified since April 2024. 

Niamh joined Mewburn Ellis in 2026.
