Areas of Expertise
Background
Niamh is a Biochemistry graduate from the University of Oxford with extensive science communication experience, and a special interest in the microbiome and antibiotic resistance. She completed her Master’s research project in the Baker lab in the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience discovery, where she worked on improving methods of localising cryoET tags to proteins of interest. Her fourth-year coursework was an evaluation of small molecule inhibitors of the bacterial SOS response, and how these could impact the antibiotic resistance crisis.
Niamh joined Mewburn Ellis in 2025.
