Rebecca is a member of our trade mark team and handles all aspects of trade mark work in the UK and before the EUIPO, with a particular focus on managing large trade mark portfolios, devising international filing and enforcement strategies, and negotiating settlements in trade mark disputes. She has extensive experience of trade mark opposition, revocation and invalidity proceedings before the UKIPO and EUIPO, including very complex evidence based cases. Rebecca also has a strong track record of success in overcoming objections raised to trade mark applications.

Rebecca’s clients range from small start-ups to large multinational corporations. She has experience working with clients in a diverse range of fields, including fashion, cosmetics, food and beverages and computer software. She has particular interest in the pharmaceutical field and manages the international trade mark portfolio of a speciality pharmaceutical company. She also gained first-hand experience of in-house IP work during a secondment to a pharmaceutical company in 2019.
Rebecca has a degree in English from the University of Exeter. She joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2012, qualifying as a UK Registered Trade Mark Attorney in 2015.
