We are delighted to announce that Fran Salisbury, Partner and Women’s Champion at Mewburn Ellis, has been recognised in the WIPR Influential Women in IP list 2026.
Published by World IP Review, the list celebrates women whose expertise, leadership and achievements are shaping the future of intellectual property across the globe. Honourees are selected through a process that combines nominations, independent research and editorial assessment, recognising those making a significant impact on the profession.
Fran is widely recognised for her work in life sciences IP, advising clients ranging from innovative start-ups to multinational companies on the development and protection of their intellectual property. Alongside her client work, she is a passionate advocate for greater diversity and inclusion within the innovation ecosystem. As Women’s Champion and leader of the Women of Mewburn Ellis Network (WoMEn), she has also played a key role in supporting and raising the profile of women across the firm and the wider IP profession.
