Mewburn Ellis relocates London office to 8 Bishopsgate, furthering commitment to sustainability and growth

We are delighted to announce the relocation of our London office to the landmark eco-friendly tower 8 Bishopsgate, marking our next step on our journey to minimise its environmental impact and build a more sustainable future. This move is a key part of our broader strategic vision for growth and innovation and to provide great working facilities for our people, combined with a deeper connection to environmental responsibilities.

About our new flagship office

8 Bishopsgate is the tallest commercial building to have an “A” Energy Performance Certificate, and has also been ranked ‘Outstanding’ on the BREEAM scale, the highest certification achievable. BREEAM is widely recognised as one of world’s leading sustainability assessment methods for infrastructure due to its scientifically based sustainability measures which cover a range of environmental issues.

Powered entirely by renewable electricity and meeting 60% of its annual heating needs by recycling heat rejected from its cooling system – the firm’s new London office building sets new standards for sustainability. The building also boasts 30% less structural carbon than the London tall buildings benchmark and the highest solar panels in London.
