Christopher (Chris) provides IP support for the firm with recordals. Recordals are the administrative process necessary to establish legal ownership of IP assets through the updating of local registers, globally.

Chris works worldwide in multiple jurisdictions. Recordals can involve complex IP rights which he takes pride in to rearrange, organise, update and finally reveal the updated portfolio in a report to the client.

He also identifies errors or the correct documentation needed, or the localities that are going to be the most challenging or require the most notarisation or legalisation.

Chris enjoys building relations and liaising with clients, attorneys and intellectual property offices to solve IP right issues, communicating instructions clearly and providing comprehensive guidance on queries. He also acquires signatures for documentation to ensure cases transition seamlessly, without snags.

Areas of Expertise

  • Recordal of changes in ownership, name and address.
  • Notarisation and Legalisation of documentation.
  • Assistance with typographical and clerical errors.

Clients

Various clients worldwide from individual inventors to large multinational corporations.
