Polona is a trainee patent attorney in our life sciences team. Polona completed a PhD studying the development of sensory brain circuits, followed by a postdoctoral research project where she was using transplantation methods and live imaging to study neuronal plasticity.

Background

Polona completed a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London, MSc in Neuroscience from UCL with a research placement at Yale University, a PhD in Neuroscience from King’s College London, and further postdoctoral training at VIB-KU Leuven Center for Brain & Disease Research in Belgium.

She joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2023.
