She has experience working with both local and international clients, assisting them with a range of patent matters including original drafting and prosecution of patent applications before the UKIPO and the EPO. She also has experience working with local attorneys to prosecute applications in jurisdictions around the world.

Background

Rebecca has a BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol. She completed two final year projects, the first focussing on the role of Endoglin in angiogenesis and the development of tumours and the second investigating the importance of various effector proteins in Salmonella infection. Rebecca joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2019, after joining the profession in 2015 and qualifying as a European Patent Attorney in 2019 and as a Charted Patent Attorney in 2020.
