Periodically the EPO updates the Guidelines for Examination to reflect decisions of the Enlarged Board of Appeal, changes to internal practice, and changes to the rules of the EPC. This year, the updates made do not represent a big change in practice for the EPO. Nevertheless there are some important and interesting changes to consider.
