We are delighted to be recognised in the WIPR UK Trademark Rankings 2026, with Mewburn Ellis ranked Recommended for Non-Contentious Trade Marks and, for the first time, recognised as a Recommended firm in the Contentious Trade Marks rankings. This recognition reflects the breadth of our trade mark expertise and our ability to support clients across both portfolio management and brand protection matters.
We would also like to celebrate our recognised individuals:
Congratulations to those recognised this year, and thank you to our clients and referees for their continued support and valuable feedback:

Andy King handles a wide range of trademark matters, from searches and portfolio reviews to oppositions, revocations and litigation. A client praises King’s “excellent support” and says their whole team is “so pleased with his services”. Oppositions expert Rebecca Anderson-Smith, a partner in the Bristol office, has a particular focus on managing large trademark portfolios, devising international filing and enforcement strategies, and negotiating settlements in disputes. There is high client praise for her; one says they feel “very lucky” to have Anderson-Smith “by my side assisting and educating me”, while another states she “continues to offer a highly professional service by providing accurate knowledge, consistent communication and also a high success rate on any infringement disputes”. |
