  • Semiconductors

Clients

Jack's clients include a multinational industrial equipment and systems company, Japanese capacitor specialists and a Japanese blow molding machine manufacturer.

Background

Jack graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class Integrated Masters degree in Physics (MPhys). His final year project focused on the epitaxial growth and characterisation of silicon-based semiconductor materials, which has important applications in low-dimensional materials research and quantum computing. This resulted in the development of a new approach to measuring the thickness of thin film epilayers using FTIR Reflection Spectroscopy, and a publication in the Semiconductor Science and Technology journal.

During his time at Warwick, he also completed a summer research project developing Python simulations of the thermodynamic properties of ideal spin-lattice materials for use in the ongoing materials research at the Universities of Warwick and Oxford.

He joined Mewburn Ellis in 2021, qualifying as a UK attorney in 2024.
