We are proud to have once again been ranked Tier 1 for Patent Prosecution and Tier 2 for Trade Mark Prosecution in the MIP IP Stars 2026 rankings. This year also marks an exciting milestone, with the firm achieving new rankings in both Patent and Trade Mark Disputes. These results reflect the continued expansion of our contentious IP offering, supported by the addition of new patent litigation talent and enhanced capabilities across Europe.
Reflecting on this achievement Sean Jauss, Head of Legal Services, said; "I’m delighted by this initial ranking of our patent and trademark litigation practices by MIP. It reflects the rapid growth of our litigation practice, the excellence of our team and the very positive support we’ve provided to our clients."
Camilla Balleny, Head of Patent Litigation, added; "I am so pleased to see this further recognition of the growth and quality of our patent litigation practice. It is reflective of lots of teamwork and the support of our clients."
Andy King, Head of Trade Marks, also commented;"our recognition as a Notable Firm for trade mark disputes in the IP STARS 2026 rankings is a fantastic milestone for the team, reflecting the growing strength of our disputes practice and the expertise, collaboration and commitment of our trade mark attorneys."
We are also delighted to see so many of our colleagues recognised in this year's rankings, including Amy Crouch, Anna Mudge, Ben Tolley, Callum McGuinn, Camilla Balleny, Chris Denison, Eleanor Maciver, Jeremy Webster, Matthew Smith, Nick Sutcliffe, Rebecca Anderson-Smith, Robert Watson, Sean Jauss and Simon Kiddle.
Their achievements span the Patent Star, Notable Practitioner and Rising Star categories, reflecting the breadth and depth of talent across the firm.
Congratulations to everyone that has been recognised this year and thanks to all our clients and referees for providing such wonderful feedback.
